Jeff Conley

Jeff Conley

Jeff opened and played with Black Marmot in April of 2011. Jeff has been described as "Mellow, yet upbeat folk tunes served on homemade, antique, electric instruments."

3 years ago, two 1960's Gibson guitars were stolen out of my car after a show.

With a full schedule, I needed to continue playing, but could not afford to purchase or spend years looking for these vintage guitars again.  With many old parts lying around at home I decided to build instead of buy.

Since then, playing and building only homemade guitars & drums has become a passion & a focus.

I've shared the stage with acts such as Bela Fleck, Zakir Hussain, & Edgar Meyer, Rusted Root, The Rustic Overtones, State Radio, the members of Dispatch, The Ryan Montbleau Band, Barefoot Truth, WIll Dailey & The RIvals, & Many more...

I am often accompanied by Krissy Price (harmony singer / homemade Ukulele), Steve Benson (Pedal Steel, Lap Steel, Mandolin), Fred Bement (harmonica) & Boyan Hristov (slide guitar)
