Katie plays an eclectic mix of music covering many different musical styles including folk, pop, country, bluegrass. She puts her own original slant on old and new songs and covers the material of artists such as Joni Mitchell, Lucinda Williams, John Prine to name a few. You will also hear her original songs throughout the evening as well.

Singer, songwriter and Maine Native Katie Daggett has been performing her unique blend of adult contemporary music in coffeehouses, clubs and restaurants throughout New England since 1981.

Katie earned an Associates of Arts Degree with a major in music studies from the University of Maine at Augusta.

In 1991 Katie’s music took a new and personal direction as she began to write and record her own material. Although deeply rooted in the folk music genre, her musical creations reflect the influences of other musical styles including country, blues and reggae.

Katie has released three albums. The first, “Big Picture” in 1995 with the trio Chord On Blue. The second, “Sistermoon” in 1999 with duo Sistermoon and in 2004  “Outside In” also with Sistermoon. Many of her songs have been chosen for compilation CD’s for the popular radio station WCLZ 98.9FM. She is currently working on her solo CD.
